A rowing app for iPhone

Every row,
remembered.

Tap row and put the phone down. Wake measures the outing — on the water or the erg — and keeps it. So the piece you row today has something to answer to next season.

Private beta iPhone · TestFlight — request access and we'll add you.

Free iPhone · Apple Watch — no account needed to start.

The Wake training log: best 2k on the water and on the erg, each with a trend line, above a list of rows — a 2k erg test at 1:58 marked a personal best, a 6 km erg piece, a 6×500 on the water, and a 13.5 km steady row.

What you get

Row. That's the setup.

Wake does the rest, and keeps it.

Nothing to set up

No unit to mount, no intervals to program, nothing to type in afterwards. Your phone is the whole kit.

Everything measured

Split, pace, rate and the line you actually steered. Watts, drag and every stroke's force curve on the erg.

Nothing forgotten

Pieces are found for you and filed. The same 500 a season apart, side by side, without you keeping a spreadsheet.

Two ways to row

One log for both.

Water and erg land in the same history, measured in the same units, compared the same way.

On the water

Your phone, in the boat. Nothing else.

  • Split and pace, once a second
  • Stroke rate, from the phone's own motion
  • Your line — how far you wandered off your own clean course
  • Pieces found automatically, then trimmed if you like
  • Heart rate — from an Apple Watch

On the erg

Bluetooth, straight off the monitor.

  • Split, rate, watts and distance — the machine's own numbers
  • Drag factor, recorded with the piece
  • Per-stroke force curves — Concept2 PM5
  • Drive length and stroke distance — Concept2 PM5
  • Any FTMS machine works — fewer fields

Integrations

Your row lands where you keep score.

Record it once. Wake sends it on to the places your training already lives.

Apple Health

Every row written back as a workout, with the route — and, on the erg, the energy the machine actually measured.

Concept2 Logbook

Erg pieces post straight to your Logbook. No screenshots of the monitor, no typing it in twice.

Apple Watch

Heart rate on the water, where the phone has none — and start, stop and split from your wrist.

Garmin, Strava, TrainingPeaks

Export a standard FIT file with stroke rate and watts intact, and upload it wherever you like.
